I am an artist interested in using a variety of materials to explore cultural themes. In my current project I am using textiles to explore the theme of human connections to nature and the sublime. The textiles I am using are a reference to both nature itself and a connection through traditional ceremonial textiles.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from University of Maryland University College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Columbus College of Art and Design. I am currently working on my MFA at Columbus College of Art and Design.
